Four Seasons, Orlando
Are you planning on going to Disney for your children, but you really want to feel like you get to have a dream vacation for yourself? Four Seasons, Orlando is the perfect spot for this! After our four day stay, all of us, including the kids, loved our time at the resort more than the Disney Parks themselves!
The resort is gorgeous, opulent grounds – a fantastic family pool and the only adults only pool on the Disney Resort property. Four Seasons also has a 5 acre water park, with a splash pad, water slides, and a phenomenal lazy river (which is where we spent most of our time).
Orlando isn’t a place that I would typically describe as “pretty” but the resort views totally contradict that opinion. The resort is nestled on a private property of Four Season Residences and surrounded by water and the woods.
Access to Disney
Getting to the Parks was so simple. The Four Seasons has their own bus for guests to take directly. The bus schedule is available from the Disney Planning Center in the lobby. The bus schedule is often enough for you to remain flexible with your arrival/departure from the parks. We loved being able to leave the park and come back to the property to relax and decompress, since the resort isn’t Disney themed you feel like you have left the theme park feeling behind.
Just because it is not Disney themed inside the resort does not mean it is not kid friendly. In fact, Four Seasons welcomes each kid with a scavenger hunt around the resort, collecting stamps from different locations until they’ve earned their treasure. A gelato treat from their coffee shop, Lickety Split. The gelato is made in house and if you stop by don’t hesitate on the macarons or the cinnamon rolls in the morning!
Where to eat
The resort has plenty of dining options.
We loved Ravello for breakfast and on Saturday’s they have a character breakfast with Goofy and his friends. Ravello for dinner is the best pasta we’ve had this side of the Atlantic. The chef’s are from Italy and everything is made fresh with ingredients imported in from Italy.
For lunch we would eat at PB & G which is great because it is an outdoor covered patio right on the lakefront.
Lickety Split was our favorite daily stop, from latte’s to lunch items to gelato – Everyone had something they couldn’t wait to order again.
The Lobby Bar, we actually ordered ours togo to enjoy on our patio in our room, but the burgers were delicious and they have poutine, a family favorite of ours!
We didn’t get a chance to eat at Capa, their steakhouse, but that is where we will go next time for a sunset dinner!
We absolutely loved our time at Four Seasons and honestly would come want to come back just the resort stay and not worry about going to the parks, but either way, everything about our trip to Disney was absolutely perfect because of our fabulous stay at Four Seasons
Our stay was in partnership with the resort at Four Seasons Orlando, but all thoughts are our own and honest!
