Four Seasons, Dallas

Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas

I’m sure there are a 100 reasons to visit Dallas, but when you stay at the Four Seasons Las Colinas, just 15 min from Dallas Airport, you can scratch the whole list off and plan on just having everything you could want within the resort.

The property is so pretty. They have rooms in the hotel and then a villa area on the golf course. These are more spread out, so if you’re looking for accommodations that are not as close to other guests, this upgraded room might be just what you are looking for. We really enjoyed watching the golfers outside of our window and even spotted our own children while they were off to Kids Camp.

During Spring Break, Four Seasons has created a great week for your family – especially if you have tiny golfers or tennis players on your hands. Every day Monday through Friday, the kids get to participate in Kids Camp which offers two hours of golf lessons with a golf pro and two hours of tennis with tennis pros that work at the FS club. Lunch is sandwiched between the two activities and this gives you a five hour stretch to do your own workout or lounge by the pool.

They brought in water slides for the kids and had really fun experiences for the kids to interact with animals. While we were there, the kids were able to meet with a steer and learn a little about falconry. After Sunday brunch the kids were able to get balloon animals, all following covid safe protocols.

When we arrived, they had left a cookie decorating set up for the kids. This was the best surprise and really a special memory for the kids! Who doesn’t want to decorate cookies in a fancy hotel room?

That’s one reason why we love Four Seasons ESPECIALLY now that we have that extra worry on all of our minds. How do we live a life that doesn’t feel like we’ve lost on the ability to live and enjoy and experience new moments out together as a family? We have to find those brands that are willing to come beside us and make sure that safety is important to them! Four Seasons wins in this category and will have our families admiration forever. They have partnered with John Hopkins, they stay up to date on the proper covid protocols and follow a strict guideline on how to serve their guests properly, even down to what chemicals they’re allowed to use around us. I think that is just so amazing that they have gone to these lengths to make sure that their guests feel at home and within a Four Seasons resort, that’s not hard because the staff treats you like one of a kind and you feel like that experience is solely yours, rather than all of the guests at Four Seasons.

When you’re by the pool, don’t miss out on the food! And the Pina Colada is the best I’ve ever had! A real treat!

Our favorite was outdoor movie night. That Texas weather in March is perfection and they provide cute buffalo plaid blankets to spread out or cuddle up with. It was a really fun family activity. And then of course, s’mores in the evening around the fire pit, because nothing seals off a good day like a rocking chair and a s’more sandwich.

The grounds are extraordinary, two golf courses, two pools (one indoors), a full sports club with tennis and swimming alongside the gym. We absolutely loved the ambiance of everything, you don’t lose that Texas feel, but it’s luxurious Texas.

With so much to do, you can still find the perfect amount of time to relax by the pool and just enjoy yourself.

When you eat at Law Restaurant, don’t miss out on the grilled shrimp and tomato tostada at lunchtime or the grilled chicken and jalapeƱo jack cheese sandwich! And for dinner, the NY steak was the best!

We loved everything about Four Seasons at Las Colinas and would go back over and over! Our time here was so special and though it was in collaboration with the resort, our thoughts are genuine and honest! This place is amazing and a personal favorite of all of ours!

Thank you for everything, FS Dallas, we love you so much!!
