Best place to stay in Seattle with kids.

Traveling with kids brings up lots of questions and where to go, isn’t always the biggest concern.

Often the more pressing question is where to stay in any particular city, and I do believe the best place to stay in Seattle with kids is the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle. Seattle is a lovely city, with tons of activities that will make every person in your family happy and entertained!

At the Four Seasons,

you’ll need two rooms for families larger than 4 people. They’ve got a wonderful “Family Getaway” program that gives you your adjoining room for 30% off. Four Seasons has welcome treats that will make your children feel like they’re in a fairytale. Tiny teddy bears and little robes and slippers for even the tiniest of travelers. Staying in one of their waterfront rooms is a must. You’ll have a perfect view of Elliot’s Bay and the Olympic Mountains (on a clear day).

You can not find a better-located hotel in Seattle. The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle is located one block up from the waterfront. One walk down a staircase and you’re at the waterfront to ride Seattle’s Great Wheel, located on Pier 57. Pier 57 is also home to a vintage carousel and a game arcade. It has a fun old-timey feel to the place and The Crab Pot is a great spot to grab lunch or dinner.

The Four Seasons Hotel is one block away from the infamous Pike Place public market. The market is open daily. It’s worth hitting it up in the morning before the crowds and stopping again for lunch at Beecher’s. The fresh flowers are out of this world gorgeous and if you love yogurt then don’t miss Ellenos Yogurt

You can walk to the Seattle Aquarium, located at Pier 59. They have a wonderful assortment of marine life, but the Otters are the best in our opinion. The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle is right across the street from Seattle’s Art Museum.

While you’re in Seattle, you must stop by an Ethan Stowell restaurant. Fortunately for guests of The Four Seasons, you have one right in the lobby, Goldfinch Tavern. We were lucky enough to have dinner there on our last night and it was life-changing good! When we go back, we will have to try each meal there, at least once. We still can’t get over how great it was! The atmosphere was very romantic. It would be great for a date night, but it’s child-friendly too, with a wonderful children’s menu.

Pools are always an important part of a vacation with kids. The rooftop pool will not disappoint with its color-changing water at night. It also boasts exceptional views of The Great Wheel and Bainbridge Island across the Bay.

Everything about The Four Seasons in Downtown Seattle is superb. It is no wonder Forbes named it one of the Finest Properties in the World in 2019. We are so grateful for our time here in The Emerald City. Especially our few days in the paradise that is The Four Seasons!

The Biggest Thank You to The Four Seasons in Downtown Seattle for our extraordinary stay!  Our stay was hosted and all thoughts are our own and honest.
